Cherry runs red at the heart — the kind of thing you notice once and can't un-notice. We didn't pick this wood by accident. It's a quiet nod to the blood that bought all this in the first place. Nothing preachy about it. Just wood, grain, and a little theology built into the material itself.
The Floating Ichthus Box isn't stacked or glued in layers — it's bandsawn from a single solid block, hollowed from the inside out so the fish appears to float within its own outline. Every curve is hand-shaped, hand-sanded, and finished by hand in our shop. No two are exactly alike, because no two pieces of cherry are exactly alike — and we're not in the business of pretending otherwise.
Inside, it's lined in crushed rayon flocking — soft to the touch, quiet against jewelry, rings, rosaries, or whatever quiet things deserve a quiet home.

Design J — compact and grounded, built for a nightstand or a shelf that doesn't have much room to spare.
Design C — the larger sibling. More presence, more curve, more cherry.
